The construction hoist drive system consists of a drive body and drive unit. The drive body is the component that connects the transmission gear to the integral structure and passes the driving force from the drive unit to the cage to raise and lower the equipment. Grade 8.8 high strength bolts are used to connect the drive body and drive unit.
The drive unit is the power section for the construction hoist operation. The unit is driven by 3 sets of power sources that work simultaneously to lift heavy loads. The drive unit consists of a drive gear, reducer, coupler, and motor (with brake).
The motor is YZEJ 132M-4 lifting disc brake three-phase asynchronous motor with an electromagnetic brake to realize automatic tracking along with the abrasion of brake disc.2. Construction Hoist Electric System
Electrical system is control port for construction hoist operation, and it controls all actions of construction hoist. Electrical system consists of electric control panel, power box, main control cable and various limit switches and etc.3. Construction Hoist Safety device (fall arrest)
The SAJ40-1. 2 safety fall arrest device is a patented technology. It can safely and smoothly stop the cage if the cage begins to fall and cuts off the power supply to ensure the personnel and equipment are kept safe.
The safety fall arrest device excitation speed is adjusted and set before delivery from the factory. Users are strictly prohibited from opening the safety device without authorization.
The service life is usually not more than one year. Submit the safety fall arrest device back to manufacturer or testing organization for re-check and calibration after the expiration of service life.
The hoist limiting device includes an upper and lower limit switch and proximity limit switch.
The cage upper and lower limit switches ensure that the power will be automatically shut off in case the construction hoist stops when the cage reaches the designated upper and lower positions.
The proximity limit switch is a redundancy device that ensures that main power will be cut off immediately when the cage continues operation after reaching the upper and lower limit position and the limit switches fail. The proximity limit switch does not self-rest, and it can be reset only by manual operation. Frequently check position accuracy between all limiting devices to ensure the limit and proximity limit switches are properly working.5. Construction Hoist Electric control panel
The electric control panel is the heart part of our construction hoist electrical system. It includes an upper and lower running contactor, control transformer, overheat protector, phase-failure and phase sequence relay, etc. The electric control panel is installed inside the cage.
